Dr. Richard Munang

Dr. Richard Munang is a climate change and development expert, with a focus on unlocking the potential of climate action as an accelerator of socioeconomic development in Africa.

He works to support countries prioritize investment policies that leverage on climate action as a source of practical enterprise solutions to critical socioeconomic challenges – especially food security, creation of income opportunities and competitive economies in the region. In linking policy to ground actions, one key area of interest in driving these solutions is involving the largest constituency in Africa - the youth – in the solutions process – especially at ground implementation level. For this, he is inspiring and structurally guiding youth and the young at heart, to see themselves as Africa’s sovereign capital and hence leverage and adapt their skills, talents, interests and work selflessly in the solutions process leveraging clean energy and sustainable agro-value chains as strategic in building regional competitive advantage and climate resilience.

Mories has a degree in Law, an MBA, a Certificate in Strategy – Innovating for Sustainability, a Certificate in Strategic Planning, a Certificate in GRI G4, a Certificate in CDC – Climate Change and HSE 1 – 3/NEBOSH.

She currently serves as a Senior manger in the Sustainability & Climate Change division of the Governance, Risk & Compliance Unit of PwC where she also drives developing plans, aligning strategy and in building business network.

She has led several initiatives associated with project management and firm strategy both in her past career in EY and in PwC.

Irene Ubani

Irene Ubani is a Communications Consultant, Public Speaking Coach and an International Journalist. She was recently approved as one of Nigeria’s very few instructors on the International e-Learning platform Udemy. She is a regular contributor on BBC money daily, a member of Toastmasters International and a contributor at the World Economic Forum press briefing on COVID-19. She is also a contributing writer on BusinessDay, one of Nigeria’s leading Business publications. She also worked at Plus TV Africa as as a Broadcast Journalist.

She is a graduate of Covenant University and an Alumni of Harvard Business School Online. She is very passionate about social development and was honoured by the Governor of Lagos State for her participation during the concluded “Food For Thought” initiative. She was nominated for Humanitarian Personality of the Year Award by LaMode Magazine in 2019. She also serves as a volunteer at LadyIFoundation and KhanFoundation.

She is passionate about International Development and contributes her quota through mentor-ship and social development projects.

Dr. Adeyinka Adewale is a management scholar, consultant, and business coach.

He is currently the Deputy Director of Studies in the department of Leadership Organisations and Behaviour at the Henley Business School, United Kingdom.

He holds a doctorate degree in Leadership, Organisations and Behaviour with his research interests primarily on the African context. Adeyinka regularly gives talks and facilitates seminars with private and public sector audiences on themes around entrepreneurship, ethics and leadership in Europe, Africa, Asia and the United States. He is well published and reviews for top management journals and publishing houses.

Adeyinka serves on the boards of fast growing start-ups in Africa. He is the CEO of Thrace Advisory, a thriving global consultancy practice committed to Africa’s emergence.

Gboyega is the Principal Consultant / CEO at Enviromax Global Resources Limited; EnviromaxGRL provides environmental solutions through research, training and development.

He is Sustainability Consultant with GREEN EASY which provide BREEAM services - • WELL • LEED • CEEQUAL • ENVISION • EDGE • EcoDistricts.

Gboyega works at the intersection of policy development and decision making on Sustainability, Design Thinking, Solid Waste Management, Safety and well-being, Climate Change Adaptation and Development projects providing knowledge and skills. He is an habitual learner and has multiple volunteering experiences for sustainable development goals and environmental courses.

Gboyega is passionate about urban regeneration, Smart/green Cities, circular economy and resource efficiency. Gboyega combined +9 years banking experience in Credit Analytics, Sales, Business Developments, Mortgage and Asset Management with with +6 years experience in environmental management, sustainability and advisory services.

Gboyega is a trained Climate Reality Leader, a member of the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SETPOM). Gboyega is a verified mentor at Mentor-X-Africa and an EcoDistricts Accredited Professional (AP).

Jennifer Uchendu is a sustainability communicator, analyst, and founder of SustyVibes, a social enterprise making sustainability actionable for young Nigeria, her sustainability work is focused on climate change, ecofeminism, and youth participation. SustyVibes has gained popularity via innovative projects that engage young people through community advocacy, pop-culture, capacity building, and trendy online publications - Jennifer has been said to be making sustainability cool in Nigeria; making a case for the youth and women’s meaningful participation in the sustainable development agenda.


Jennifer holds a bachelor's in Biochemistry from Covenant University and certificates from Cambridge University, Lagos Business School, European Energy Centre, and Global Reporting Initiative respectively.

Prof. Nsikak Benson

Nsikak Benson is a Professor of Environmental Chemistry in the College of Science and Technology, Covenant University, Ota. He is interested in developing a quantitative understanding of the biogeochemical cycling of marine trace gases and pollutants in ocean systems as well as their interactions with multiple anthropogenic stressors.

He was a Fulbright Foreign Student Fellow at the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences, University of Wisconsin, Madison between 2008 and 2009, where he conducted research on large-scale interannual CO2 air-sea interaction and climate change in the North Atlantic Ocean. Prof. Benson is an alumnus of SOLAS Summer School, Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse, Corsica, France.

Ade-­‐Peters is an award winning bilingual (French/ English) Sustainable Development Consultant and an eco-­‐segment leader with over 15 years' experience in the operations, communications and sustainability fields.

She is currently the CEO of WeForGood International, an expression of Kharis Cares Foundation, a non-profit she founded to build a new crop of African leaders who will champion its sustainable development.

The WeForGood community (weforgood.org) brings people together to act on causes they care about, employing technology as an enabler for effective citizenship, collaboration and participation in fulfilment of the SDGs, and for the overall wellbeing of communities.

Ms Olumekor is currently the Knowledge Management Assistant at the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Nigeria.
